A natural treatment of cow mastitis using immunomodulators
Our researchers in coolaboration with scientists of Scientific Laboratory of Molecular Biology and Microbiology of Veterinary faculty of Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies are developed a natural immunomodulator with probiotics and their glycopeptides, skim milk fermentation metabolites, including polypeptides and lactic acid, and lysosomes. The preparation has been tested by in vitro & in vivo tests (field tests) for treatment of cow subclinical mastitis. PCT patent WO2017010856 (2017-01-19). The research results show the preparation’s efficacy. This preparation is the natural substance that can replace antibiotics in the treatment of mastitis and which does not prevent the use of milk during treatment. We are looking for development or licensee partner.
